Q4xx, Quality for Women, exists as a resource for women’s health and the Q movement.
The symbol, Q - quality for women (xx), is an identity that encompasses both a viral campaign for spreading awareness and a resource for obtaining information, which together build a movement for change.
Most women don't realize that information used to treat them medically is predominately based on men. Only recently has medical research recognized biological differences between men and women, and has shown diseases manifest themselves differently in each sex. This project aims to bring awareness to that fact in order to raise the quality of women's health.
/ Deliverables :
Leave behind, business sized, cards had a stencil component to enable users to tag this symbol anywhere. Accompanied with social media and a blog resource, users can upload their experience (image) with this movement and contribute to the discussion.
The digital website brought all of these components together and served as a hub for all current data about the topic. Q4xx, Quality for Women, exists as a resource for women’s health and the Q movement.
A blog/informative site was created as the home for the movement. Follow: http://q4xx.wordpress.com/

/ Research :
We’ve always known women and men are different. Only recently has medical research recognized biological differences between men and women extend beyond reproductive systems. New evidence has shown diseases manifest themselves differently in each sex. Women’s health research is over 35 years behind men’s, but the gap is rapidly closing with the sharing of this knowledge. Women and men need to be aware of their biological differences to support gender-specific health research and treatment, which benefits not only women but men as well.
